Connecting the skills of your staff with the needs of community organisations

Many community enterprises and voluntary organisations do great work and make a real difference to the lives of those they’re set up to assist.

Others, while having the desire to help, may not have the means. Perhaps they lack a long-term strategic approach, or maybe their skills and resources prevent them from adequately responding to their users’ needs.

As part of the Charity Bank in the North Programme, we’re offering a tailored package of support, for organisations looking for more hands-on assistance in achieving a robust and sustainable business model.

This could mean access to business mentors, marketing and technical advice, and/or other specialists.

As a way of connecting business with the local community, we are looking to recruit individuals or organisations that are prepared to invest some time in working more closely with community enterprises in the region.

Depending on the level of time you can give, and the needs of the organisations we are supporting, we’ll match you up with a charity or enterprising community group so that you can get actively involved with helping to take them a step further on their road to development.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please contact our Leeds team to discuss this with you in more depth.
