What we are offering within the Cylch Investment Programme?
Grants – a limited number are available up to £10,000 as part of our Prepare to Invest programme. We fund needs that move you towards greater financial sustainability. The money can support both staff time and consultant input as well as running pilot projects, business planning work, feasibility studies, buying equipment, developing websites and online retailing.
Starter investments – if you require a greater level of financial support our starter investments offer a grant: loan mix up to £30,000 (with one part grant to two parts loan e.g. £10,000 grant £20,000 loan for a £30,000 investment). Again, these investments are available for a wide range of projects for both capital and revenue needs.
Loan finance – we will work alongside staff and trustees to look at whether loan finance is the right option for you. We can offer both secured and unsecured loans and will go through the issues and options that loan finance can raise.
Training and other support – we have run training courses both as part of a tailored programme for staff and trustee development and also one off workshops looking at specific issues such as financial monitoring and risk management. We also ran a study trip to look at how another organisation uses an entrepreneurial approach to fund the work which meets its social aims.
