Charity Bank Savings Account

The Charity Bank Savings Account provides a safe place and a new way of using your money to make a difference to the world.

It’s a simple account.  You can open a Charity Bank Savings Account with as little as £10.  The more money you put in, and the longer you choose to leave it in your account, the more interest you earn.  And you can add to your savings at any time.  You can operate your account by post, and access your account information by telephone, subject to suitable security checks.

While the savings remain in your account, you can be sure that we’ll only use them to provide affordable loans to support charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises that are delivering solutions to society’s problems.  

Interest is calculated daily and added to your account quarterly in March, June, September and December.  Don’t forget you can choose to forego your interest which helps us to keep our lending rates affordable or you can donate your interest to your favourite charity or your CAF Account.
