Charity Bank Small Steps Account

The Charity Bank Small Steps Account is open to children and young savers aged under 16 years.  It provides an opportunity for parents, grandparents and other relatives, friends or guardians to celebrate a birthday or another occasion and to develop family philanthropy. It aims to encourage saving for the common good, until the child becomes an adult and is able to decide whether to continue to save with us, or to use the money in other ways. 

You can choose the rate of interest you receive from nil to 2% per annum gross. By waiving the interest, you allow us to lower the interest charge to our borrowers, keeping affordability at the heart of our mission.
