Governance
The team at Charity Bank aims to deliver a professional service to all of its customers. As a bank, we are regulated by the Financial Services Authority and are, like other financial service providers, required to undertake regular training, reporting and self- or external assessment processes.
As a registered charity, we are required to comply with the Charity Commission’s guidance on governance, accounting and best practice.
In 2009 we achieved the Customer First standard, a national standard for customer service, which measures our customers’ experience of our service and support provision.
Through meeting the criteria for the Customer First Standard, our achievement has made us part of an exclusive group that is showing their customers that they have true customer service excellence.
In order to continue to meet this standard, we have undertaken to deliver against a series of requirements on building and maintaining customer relationships. This will help ensure our services are constantly improved, and new ones developed where necessary, to better meet our customers’ different needs.
