a different bank for people who want a different world
Cylch
The Cylch Investment Programme – for Cylch members
Cylch is the Wales Community Recycling Network. The Cylch Investment Programme is run by Charity Bank on behalf of Cylch and provides financial and other support, to enable Cylch members to improve their financial sustainability.
The Cylch Investment Programme can offer:
Grant support
A limited number of grants are available up to £10,000 as part of the Prepare to Invest programme. The money can support staff time and consultant input as well as:
- Pilot Projects
- Business planning work
- Feasibility studies
- Buying equipment
- Online marketing
Loan Finance
As you grow, your organisation may need larger sums of money to travel down the road to financial sustainability. The CIP offers loan finance to Cylch members to help you grow or diversify your business operations. We can offer both secured and unsecured loans and will go through the issues and options that loan finance can raise.
Training and other support
We have run training courses as part of a tailored programme for staff and trustee development as well as one-off workshops looking at specific issues such as financial monitoring and risk management. We also ran a study trip to look at how another organisation uses an entrepreneurial approach to fund the work which meets its social aims.
