Ardingly is a small village in Sussex; Old Jeshwang is an urban community in the Gambia. The Ardingly Old Jeshwang Association has been established to support the construction of a local maternity and child health centre in Old Jeshwang to deliver primary health care programmes. The clinic is now complete and has treated 4,000 women and 20,000 children. A loan of £35,000 allowed the charity to develop its maternity and child health centre.
