CHICKS provides respite breaks in Devon and Cornwall for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. CHICKS received a £300,000 loan from Charity Bank in order to purchase a new holiday centre. The asset has given the charity the security to expand its services. In 2005, CHICKS gave breaks to 500 children. In 2010, that number will rise to 1200.
