Lake District Calvert Trust on the outskirts of Keswick, Cumbria, was formed in 1976 to offer to people with disabilities access to outdoor activities in the national park. In 2009 work began on a major £3.8million investment to increase capacity by almost 50% and to build a brand new state of the art hydrotherapy pool and sensory room. Charity Bank provided a loan of £200,000 as working capital over a five year period while the take up of the recently extended facilities increases.
