Located approximately one mile from the centre of Leeds the temple has around 250 members. The temple houses a hall that is used by the local community for a range of activities including a youth club, cooking classes, exercise classes and meeting place for the elderly.
Over time the hall had fallen into a dilapidated state and therefore has only been used modestly. Charity Bank provided a £50,000 loan to assist with the refurbishment and extension of the community hall.
