Charity Bank Receives King’s Award for Enterprise
Charity Bank has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, one of the UK’s most prestigious business awards.
Announced today (Wednesday 6 May), Charity Bank has received a King’s Award for Enterprise in 2026, recognising its outstanding achievement in sustainability.
Founded in 2001 and based in Tonbridge, Kent, Charity Bank uses its savers’ money to provide loans to UK charities and other organisations working to drive positive social change – bringing benefits for people, communities, and the environment.

Now in its 60th year, the King’s Awards for Enterprise remain the UK’s most prestigious business accolades. Winners are allowed to display the King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years, a globally recognised mark of excellence.
