Providing community rowing and canoeing opportunities for people aged 8 to 80 through a mix of competitive, recreational and get-fit activities, WBF received a loan of £150,000 in order that work could commence on the first phase of a new purpose built boathouse and river access. Once the work is complete it will provide full accessible facilities for disabled rowers and canoeists as well as anyone who would like to become involved in either sport, regardless of their means.
